There is no direct option to delete or disable Instagram account. But if you follow these simple steps you can easily delete Instagram or deactivate Instagram.
Steps are given below
Step 1:
First of all, log in to your Instagram account with the correct user name/email ID/mobile number and password.
Step 2:
Now click on your Instagram profile picture/edit profile.
Step 3:
Clicking on the profile picture, you will see some options like those below. In these options, you need to click on settings.

Now Scroll to the next page. You see the Help option on the left side of the page.

Now click on the Instagram Help Center option.

In the Help Center, you can see a search bar above on the page.

Type Delete account in the search bar.

Choose the first option “How do I delete My Instagram Account?”

Scroll down the window. You see a Link “Delete Your Account”. A new window will open.

Now choose the suitable option from the drop-down box.

If you continue, your profile and account details will be deleted after one month. You won’t be visible on Instagram between now and then. If you change your mind, you can log back in before the deletion date and choose to keep your account.
